Monthly meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at
Parks and People Foundation, 800 Wyman Park Drive
(In the Steiff Building, on the eastern side of Druid Hill Park. The Parks & People entrance is in the back of the building)
from 7 to 8 PM.

2010 Maryland Arbor Day Poster Contest

 

You are invited to join over 75,000 fifth grade teachers across America in the 2010 Arbor Day Poster Contest.  This year's contest "Trees are Terrific...and Energy Wise" includes classroom activities designed to increase understanding of the importance of trees in a community.  Activity guides containing lesson plans centered on the theme are available to all public and non-public schools.

To participate in the 2009 Arbor Day Poster contest:

 Designate a teacher or staff member as your Arbor Day Coordinator

 Select a Winner from your School!

 

Each participating school should select only one winner.  The school's winner becomes eligible to compete in the state competition.
